Lesson 1 of 6 · 6 min
One goal, one plan
Turn an intention into concrete tracks, each with a pace and a first step.
Many intentions stay intentions because they have neither a deadline nor a first step. In Goals, Learnya helps you get from one to the other. You describe what you want to achieve, and “Make a plan” suggests concrete tracks.
- The area: Health, Money, Work, Learning, People, Home or Other.
- The goal itself, with a deadline.
- Your starting point.
- The time you have available each week.
The more precise these elements are, the more realistic the plan. “Improve my German” gives a vague plan. “Lead a meeting in German by March, starting from school level, with three hours a week” gives a plan that holds up.
- Create the goal in Goals and fill in its four elements.
- Click “Make a plan”. Learnya suggests several tracks, each with a pace and a first step.
- Remove a track that does not suit you, change a pace, then accept the plan.
- Revisit the plan when your situation changes.
