Lesson 6 of 6 · 9 min

A report that comes back on its own

Schedule a regular update, read its status in one sentence and stay in control of what gets sent.

The weekly update, the monthly statement, the deadline follow-up: these tasks always come back and always take the same time. A scheduled task in Automations does them for you, at the pace you choose.

The task runs without you. So the instruction must say everything: where to look, what to keep, in what form, for whom, and what to do if there is nothing to report.

  1. In Automations, click “New task” and paste the instruction.
  2. Choose the schedule option, for example “Every week”, on Friday at 16:00.
  3. Launch a test run to check the report straight away.
  4. Read the task’s status: the next run and the result of the last one.
  5. Follow in the activity feed what each run has produced.
