Lesson 8 of 9 · 7 min

How Learnya reduces the risks

You link each known limit to the Learnya guardrail that makes it visible and recoverable.

ObjectiveBy the end of this lesson, you will be able to match each limit of a model with the Learnya guardrail that makes it visible, and use it at the right moment.

No model is infallible. Learnya does not claim to eliminate errors. It is built to make them visible, rarer and recoverable. Here is how each limit covered in this course finds an answer in the product.

  • Hallucinations: cited searches and a verification agent that checks the sources.
  • Outdated knowledge: web and academic search, with the date of the sources.
  • Overconfidence: a challenger agent that looks for the flaws in the conclusion.
  • Calculation: tools that actually calculate, such as the spreadsheet and code.
  • Long documents: the knowledge library and the search for relevant passages.
  • Risky actions: an approval before sending, buying, publishing or deleting.

Transparency as a guardrail

Learnya shows its plan and every tool it uses. You see what was searched, read and calculated, and by which agent. This visibility is a protection in its own right: an error you can see is an error you can correct. For automatic tasks, the activity feed keeps a record of what they have produced and of the approvals given.

Approvals

Before any binding action, Learnya stops and shows you what it is about to do. An email is sent, a slot is booked, a post is scheduled only after you agree. In an organisation, the administration can also restrict the available tools and skills from the console, and the audit log completes this oversight.

Less effective

Send the report to all clients.

More effective

Prepare a personalised email for each client on the list, with the report attached. Show me the first three before asking for approval for the whole batch.

You check a sample before a bulk action, where an error would multiply.

These guardrails do not replace your judgement. They give it something to work with: sources to open, objections to read, an action to review before it goes out. They only help if you look at them.
