Configuring assistants in the console
Give assistants a common framework from the administration console.
ObjectiveBy the end of this lesson, you will be able to configure an assistant in the console, from its instructions to its default model, and limit its access to the right spaces.
The administration console brings together the settings that apply to the whole organisation. It is organised in sections: spaces, users, assistants, skills, tools and restrictions. AI champions design assistants with their teams, and the administrator gives them a common framework.
Spaces and users
Spaces separate working contexts, for example a division or a site. They let you give each group of people the assistants that concern them, without cluttering things for the others. The users section links each person to the spaces where they work.
What you configure for an assistant
- The name and description, visible to users.
- The standing instructions, written with the team’s champion.
- The default model, Learnya Flash or Learnya Max.
- The skills and tools available to it.
- The spaces or users that have access to it.
- Open the administration console, “Assistants” section.
- Create an assistant or open the one the champion has prepared.
- Review the instructions with the champion, especially the part on limits.
- Choose the default model according to the task.
- Limit access to the spaces concerned and save.
- Ask the champion to rerun their test set.
Learnya Flash suits quick-answer assistants. Learnya Max is justified for analysis assistants, which read long files or compare several sources. The right default model spares some users needless delays and others answers that are too thin.
