Lesson 2 of 8 · 9 min

Organising groups

Structure the organisation into groups to share, train and measure.

ObjectiveBy the end of this lesson, you will be able to structure the organisation into groups to share, launch campaigns and measure retention under pseudonyms.

Groups bring members together according to how work is organised: a department, a project team, a training cohort. They spare you from managing access person by person and give learning campaigns a framework.

What groups are for

  • Sharing a project, a calendar or documents with a whole team at once.
  • Sending a reinforcement campaign to a cohort and measuring its retention.
  • Assigning verified assessments, marked automatically and time-stamped.
  • Reading usage by team rather than person by person.

Pseudonyms and protecting people

In a training context, individual results are sensitive. A group can work with pseudonyms: managers follow progress and retention without seeing names. Lifting a pseudonym remains possible, but only through a traced procedure. This rule protects people and the credibility of the measurements.

  1. Open “Team” and find the groups section.
  2. Create a group with a clear name, for example “Purchasing department” or “Autumn onboarding cohort”.
  3. Add the members concerned.
  4. For a training cohort, turn on pseudonyms before the campaign is launched.
  5. Document who can request that a pseudonym be lifted, and on what grounds.

Try it in LearnyaPrepare a reinforcement campaign for the Autumn onboarding cohort group based on our attached security procedure: a review deck of twenty cards and a verified assessment of ten questions. Show me everything before it is sent. Try in Learnya

A campaign sent to a group is measured by retention, not by whether the content was merely opened. Review cards come back according to spaced repetition, and retention can be read per person and for the cohort as a whole.
