Grouping your work into projects
Bringing conversations, documents, members and deadlines together around one topic.
ObjectiveBy the end of this lesson, you will be able to create a project that brings together conversations, documents, members and deadlines, and have its assistant work within that frame.
A project brings together everything about one topic: the conversations, the documents, the members working on it and the Agenda events. Instead of searching through dozens of threads, you open the project and have the complete file in front of you.
What a project contains
- The conversations held with Learnya on this topic.
- The related documents, presentations and files.
- The invited members, who see and edit the same content.
- The dated events, visible in the Agenda.
- An assistant specific to the project, with its own instructions and knowledge.
- Click “Projects” in the sidebar.
- Choose “New project” and give it a short, clear name.
- Add a two-sentence description: the goal and the deadline.
- Invite the colleagues concerned as members.
- Start a “New conversation” from the project so that Learnya works in this context.
The project assistant
Each project can have its own assistant. It knows the project’s documents and follows the instructions you give it: the tone, the expected format, the topics to avoid. When a colleague asks a question in the project, they get answers consistent with that frame. The project is also where approvals granted “for this project” apply.
When to create a project
Create a project once a topic lasts more than a few days, involves several people or relies on several documents. For a one-off question, a simple conversation is enough. A well-kept project becomes the topic’s memory: a colleague who joins along the way finds the history there without having to ask for it.
